Hortillonnages



The Hortillonnages are a series of floating gardens located near Amiens, France.


This picturesque and unique site is made up of a series of small plots of land surrounded by canals and streams, creating a veritable green labyrinth. The hortillonnages were once used to grow vegetables and flowers, but today they are mainly preserved for their ecological value and natural beauty, attracting visitors who come to enjoy boat rides in the heart of this green oasis.

Amiens Cathedral



Amiens Cathedral, located in the city of Amiens, France, is one of the largest and finest examples of Gothic architecture in Europe. Built between the 13th and 16th centuries, it is dedicated to Notre-Dame.
The cathedral's impressive western façade is adorned with detailed sculptures depicting biblical and historical scenes. It is topped by three richly sculpted portals and two slender towers, reaching a height of over 42 meters.

St Leu district

The Perret Tower



The Tour Perret is a residential and office building located in Amiens, on Place Alphonse-Fiquet, opposite the Gare du Nord train station, a short distance from the city center.

The Perret Tower was designed by architect Auguste Perret in 1942 as part of a project to rebuild the Place Alphonse-Fiquet and Amiens railway station following the massive destruction of the city at the start of the Second World War. The work was carried out by the Perret-Frères company (whose partners were Auguste, Gustave and Claude), working in collaboration with the Bouvet company from Arras.



Cirque Jules Verne



Cirque Jules-Verne is located on Place Longueville in Amiens. Built in 1889 by architect Émile Ricquier, it was known as the Cirque municipal d'Amiens until 2003.

The Cirque Jules-Verne's facades and roofs have been listed as historic monuments since October 29, 1975
